Rental terms & FAQ
The short version of what's in the rental agreement you'll sign at pickup.
- RATE
- $170 per day. 10% off 3–4 days ($153/day). 15% off 5+ days ($144.50/day).
- PAYMENT
- Paid in full when you book. $500 security deposit, refunded whenever you cancel.
- PICKUP
- 5142 Schuyler Drive, Carmichael, CA 95608. Pickup hours are outlined in your rental.
- RETURN
- Same location, at the time on your agreement. Late return: $25/hour after a 1-hour grace period.
- YOU BRING
- Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, a tow vehicle with a 2 5/16" ball rated for the trailer plus your car
- AGREEMENT
- Signed at pickup. No signature, no rental.
- USE
- Automobiles only. No equipment, machinery or off-road vehicles. Max load 5,678 lb.
- CANCELLATION
- Cancel 7+ days before pickup for a full refund. Cancel 2–6 days before and you're refunded minus one day ($170). Under 48 hours, or a no-show: the rental is non-refundable. Your deposit is always refunded.
- DAMAGE
- You're responsible for the trailer from pickup to return, including tires and wheels. Damage beyond normal wear comes out of the $500 deposit first; repairs above that are billed at actual cost with a receipt. Lost straps or remotes, cleaning ($75) and late returns ($25/hour after a 1-hour grace period) are charged as listed in the rental agreement. Overloading or hauling anything other than an automobile makes you responsible for all resulting damage. We photograph the trailer together at pickup and return.
- MINIMUM AGE
- 25 or older, with a valid driver's license.
Yes. The deck lowers to the ground for a shallow 3° ramp angle. Very low splitters should still roll on slowly.
Yes. The recovery winch has a remote, and one person can winch a car onto the deck. We'll show you how at pickup.
Check your owner's manual for the towing capacity. It must cover the trailer's weight (1,322 lbs) plus your car's weight. Text us your tow vehicle and car if you're unsure.

No. Automobiles only.
Many auto policies extend liability to a towed trailer, but coverage varies. Call your insurer before you book and bring proof of insurance to pickup.
Yes. Track weekends are the most common rental. Book Friday to Sunday or Monday.
Yes, renters can take it out of state.
