Why a lowering trailer
- 3° ramp angle. Lowered and low-nose cars load without scraping.
- Remote recovery winch. If the car doesn't run, or you'd rather not drive an unfamiliar car up a ramp, winch it on.
- Tire straps, a rock guard and wheel covers. They help protect the car on the highway.
What you need
- A 2 5/16" hitch ball
- A tow vehicle rated for the trailer plus the car you're buying (check the seller's listing for the car's weight)
- Driver's license and proof of auto insurance
